LADY WHILTON'S WEDDING
by Barbara Metzger

Genre: Regency Period, England

RT Rating

Fawcett's Barbara Metzger tickles our fancy with LADY WHILTON'S WEDDING (4), a simply delightful farce in which a gallant soldier goes to extreme lengths to win back the heart of an impetuous young lady after she breaks their long-standing engagement. Hiding the dead body of her ne'er-do-well uncle to prevent the disruption of the wedding of their single parents, however, is above and beyond the call of duty. Ms. Metzger is of those very rare authors with a fine talent for zany humor and touching emotion.
