A LADY'S LUCK
by Ken Casper

Genre: Series, Silhouette Thoroughbred Legacy, Previously Published Series Imprints

RT Rating

Following up on a lead which could crack the Quest Stables breeding scandal wide open, head trainer Brent Preston goes to England, ostensibly on vacation. At first, it seems like a dead end: Teacher Devon Hunter clearly isn't aware of her brother Nolan's involvement in the scandal. Widower Brent's attraction to Devon comes as a surprise; he isn't expecting
to find love again. But there won't be a happy ending if Nolan and Devon's possessive ex have anything to say about it. Ken Casper's A Lady's Luck (3) has a solid plot and conflict and a pair of nasty villains. Unfortunately, Devon's depicted as a victim, and Brent isn't very well developed.
