Book Review

by Suzanne Woods Fisher

Genre: Inspirational, Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

A warm, feel-good Amish story with characters who have lost sight of what is really important and have a second chance at making it right. The Amish are interesting to read about and Fisher shares a lot about their choice to live simple, uncomplicated lives according to the teachings of the Bible.

Jaime Fitzpatrick and her husband C.J. have drifted apart. She knows she needs to make changes but is not sure about how to do it. Amish woman Mattie Riehl wants to give her husband only one gift for Christmas, a child, but as time goes by she realizes this is not going to happen. When a blizzard brings the couples together, they teach each other the true meaning of love. (REVELL, Sep., 208 pp., $15.99)
