This installment of Christy Reece's Last Chance Rescue series sucked me in and took me along for the ride. You'd be hard-pressed to find a creepier villain or a heroine more deserving of your sympathy. The hero was no slouch either, hot and earnest, but I loved that despite her small stature the heroine was able to think and act for herself. When I finished the book I wanted to start reading it again right away!
