THE LAST FIRST KISS
THE LAST FIRST KISS (3) by Marie Ferrarella: Kara Calhoun and Dave Scarlatti grew up together but were always like oil and water: she’s extroverted and pushy and he’s introspective and serious. Yet when Kara shows up at Dave’s clinic one morning on an errand set up by her mother, Dave faces his childhood nemesis again, all grown up. Onto her matchmaking mama’s scheme, Kara hatches a counter-scheme that includes Dave. Though the plot is predictable, snappy dialogue and a spunky heroine make this an enjoyable read.
