RT Rating

Cassidy is known for her taut suspense, with plenty of red herrings, and this novel doesn't disappoint. Just when you think you have a clue, another person does something suspicious. Fast paced but still with fully fleshed characters, this one will keep you up at night.

Allison lost her entire family one horrible day 15 years ago. Her mother and siblings were brutally slain, she went into a coma, and her father was convicted of the crime. After spending a year in a mental hospital, Allison has buried the entire thing deep in her mind to the point that she doesn't even remember it. Now attorney Seth Walker appears in her small town, convinced her father is innocent and looking for new evidence. She might just dismiss him and his claims, but someone is killing again. Is it a copy cat, or has a murderer been hiding in her town all this time? (SIGNET ECLIPSE, Apr., 321 pp., $7.99)
