LAST GROOM STANDING
LAST GROOM STANDING (3) by Kimberly Lang: Aristocratic Dylan Brookes is the sort of man her parents would have chosen for her, and Marnie Price is determined to give him the cold shoulder. An added “ick” factor is the fact that he was a best friend’s former fiancé. So Marnie is mortified to wake up next to him after an alcohol-fueled passionate interlude. Will Dylan fight for a chance at a life with Marnie, or will he let her go as easily as he did his ex? Rehashing events from the Wedding Diaries series takes away from the story’s freshness and the grudge-holding heroine is irritating. But readers will still appreciate the moments of humor and seeing Dylan get his happy ending.
