THE LAST KISS
This book will definitely keep you on your toes, but the most disheartening thing is the heroine. Her weakness becomes more and more apparent as each chapter goes on and it’s painful to see her make excuses for others while selling herself short. The sex scenes are creative and tantalizing and the author does a wonderful job of painting a picture of seduction and lust.
Emma has spent the past year and a half mourning her boyfriend Benjamin and wondering how she can go on with life. Benjamin’s best friend Carter comes to the rescue and stakes his claim for the woman he has always loved. But Benjamin’s ghost can’t stand the idea of Emma giving her heart to anyone but him. He makes a deal with a witch and re-enters his body, forcing Emma to choose between the two men. (HEAT, May, 320 pp., $15.00)
