THE LAST REAL COWBOY
THE LAST REAL COWBOY (3) by Donna Alward: Angela Beck has great hopes for the women’s shelter she runs. When her main supporter steps down from the advisory board and sends her son Sam Diamond in her place, Angela fears that he will withdraw financial support. Angela and Sam got off on the wrong foot when she turned him down at a social event for the shelter, not knowing who he was. Neither Sam nor Angela is a sympathetic character, and the rift between them seems to be the result of an overblown ego on Sam’s part.
