THE LAST WOMAN HE'D EVER DATE
THE LAST WOMAN HE’D EVER DATE (3) by Liz Fielding: Village bad boy Hal North has made his fortune and returned home to buy Cranbrook Park, the home of his biological father, who refuses to acknowledge him. Journalist Claire Thackeray has always had a crush on Hal, but now North is intent on evicting her. After a difficult first encounter, Claire and Hal discover they both have feelings for one another. Fielding’s tale is humorous, and the characters are interesting, but the pace of the story is slow and the dialogue often seems stilted.
