Horrified when a client she got acquitted proves to be guilty, defense lawyer Ashley D'Angelo goes to a private cottage to re-evaluate her life. Running into Josh Madison is a stroke of luck. With Josh's help, workaholic Ashley relaxes—and romance blooms. But Ashley's unaware of who Josh really is—a corporate attorney in an equally severe career crisis. Leaving her in the dark breaks The Laws of Attraction (3), but Josh is sure the truth will drive Ashley away, and he's unwilling to lose her. Leisurely paced and introspective, Sherryl Woods' new Rose Cottage Sisters story is quite enjoyable, though the incessant interference of Ashley's sisters is grating.
