Book Review

THE LAZARUS MACHINE
by Paul Crilley

Genre: Young Adult, Science Fiction

RT Rating

Crilley’s newest is a wild ride with a pair of bickering detectives. Even the setting is intriguing: an alternate 1895 complete with computers, automation and a super-secret government agency. You’ll love the quirky one-liners and the nonstop action.

Seventeen-year-old Sebastian Tweed and his father try to survive and avoid the Ministry, when a masked gang begins terrorizing the city. After the gang kidnaps his dad, Sebastian teams up with Octavia Nightingale. Their investigation leads to a political plot that may change the very core of the British Empire.
