The authors handle a difficult subject in a delicate manner in this extraordinary read. They demonstrate that past secrets and pridefulness can distance us from God and show readers the redemptive power of the Lord who heals.

Eric Bennington is having a rough time. His family is in shambles, his business was destroyed, he is suspected of arson and his father died. Reverend Travis Jameson offers his assistance, but God is the last thing Eric wants to hear about. Eric believes he can handle it on his own. When additional difficulties arise with his son, Eric is forced to reflect upon his relationship with his father. (BARBOUR, Feb., 340 pp., $12.99)
