New York model booking agent Izzie Silver dreams of starting her own agency to represent the millions of plus-size women in the world. She's also in love. Unfortunately, it's with a married man. Izzie is devastated to learn that her Irish grandmother, Lily, who raised her, is in the hospital. She returns to Ireland, where she encounters the family turmoil she's been immune to while living abroad. For instance, her aunt Anneliese is struggling to deal with Lily's illness, her daughter's pregnancy and her husband's infidelity.

Drifting in and out of consciousness, Lily inadvertently reveals information pertaining to a secret that she's kept hidden for years. Can Izzie's family withstand all the drama? (DOWNTOWN, Feb., 512 pp., $16.00)
