LET ME BE YOUR HERO
by Elaine Coffman

Genre: Historical Romance
Setting: 1740s Scotland

RT Rating

As the Countess of Errick and Mains, Lady Claire Lennox wields her power carefully. Once she was an impulsive girl who fell in love with Fraser Graham, married him and then suffered what she believed was his betrayal. Pride has kept her from seeking his help when ruthless enemies
try to destroy her clan.

Fraser's love for Claire is as strong as ever. He was there the day her father was brutally slain and her aunt and uncle took over her home and family. Fraser risks much to rescue Claire, and during their escape he rekindles the passion within her heart—a love that has never died. But as the enemy's lethal plot evolves, Claire and Fraser must find a way to stand together or lose everything they hold dear.

Coffman gradually builds her story, starting slowly and then increasing the pace, methodically setting the stage for what is to come. In addition to a well-drawn backdrop, Coffman's novel has authentic dialect and a large cast of characters, giving this tale realism as well as romance. Fans of brave Scot heroes will adore Coffman's latest. SENSUAL (Nov., 400 pp., $6.99)
