LETTERS FROM HOME
(4.5) by Rhonda Nelson: Levi McPherson, a soldier in Iraq, has been receiving letters from a mysterious Ms. X, obviously someone from his hometown, in which she confesses her passion for him. Back in South Carolina, Natalie Rowland, who's had a crush on Levi since high school and impulsively sent the letters, panics when she learns he's unexpectedly coming home. Her assistant stamped a fresh batch of letters with her return address and mailed them. When they're forwarded to him, Natalie fears she'll be humiliated. This highly romantic tale is filled with emotion and wonderful characters. It's a heart-melting romance.
