In search of a wife, lonesome cowboy Slade Braddock heads to the big city and engages a matchmaking service. Its new proprietor, Karma O'Connor, inherited the business from her deceased aunt and is determined to make a go of it. Trouble is, Karma's attracted to Slade, and he to her—despite the fact that she's everything he supposedly doesn't want in a partner and she isn't interested in marriage. Pamela Browning's first Duets, LIFE IS A BEACH (3), puts an interesting modern spin on an old plot, with amusing results.
