LILY GETS HER MAN
Tyler Kincaid brings out yearnings in plain Lily Brody that she truly does not understand. Lilys father has died, leaving her in debt and unable to hold on to the mecantile. Tyler needs someone to help care for his six-year-old daughter, Bethann. He offers Lily the position.
When she refuses, he offers marriage, but Lily stands her ground. Then suddenly Tyler is shot. Lily stays to help and becomes entwined in their lives, though she still refuses the job as housekeeper and Tylers proposal of marriage. However, when Bethann runs away, a new chain of events is set in motion.
Though the plot line of LILY GETS HER MAN has been used many times before, Charlene Sands kept this reviewer turning the pages. Bethann is adorable and Tyler is a hero who will make your heart flutter and leave you with a smile. Lily may appear too stiff and prim, but this is still an encouraging debut.
