TO THE LIMIT (3) by Jo Leigh: Continuing the Uniformly Hot! Series, Air Force Captain Sam Brody has recently lost his wings since an unsuccessful corrective eye surgery compromised his vision. But with an opportunity to teach soldiers how to fly drones remotely, he is assigned to Alamogordo, N.M., the former home of his buddy Danny, who was killed in a freak plane accident. Danny’s widow, Emma, is the secret love of Sam’s life, but thou shalt not covet thy best friend’s wife. Thrown by Sam’s relocation, Emma slowly wades into the waters of their rekindled friendship, but soon starts feeling waves of desire. While this book holds on to some unfortunate flyboy stereotypes, Sam fortunately breaks free of some of them, and proves to be worthy of the solid and steamy relationship with Emma.
