Hill includes short stories from some of today's hottest writers, including L.A. Banks, Francis Ray and Monica Jackson. This book has everything a person who loves Jerry Springer reruns could ask for: unbelievable sexcapades and wild and crazy people who love to tell their stories. The only drawback is that the subplots are more interesting than the main story.

Joy Newsome, a radio talk show host, is known for her brash and in-your-face personality. That's why her talk show is ranked No. 1 and why callers love to dish their personal dirt on the airwaves. Even after Joy loses her job, she still manages to use the lives of others to further her career. (Kimani/Sepia, Jan., 256 pp., $14.95)
