IN THE LINE OF FIRE

Author(s):

Danny Gates was trying to rebuild his life after six years in prison. Coaching basketball at a small town rec center was the first step. What he didn't need was the attraction he felt to the beautiful, though argumentative police officer, Molly French. But when Molly's work on a big bombing case gets her into hot water, Danny realizes he'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Though some aspects of this story are not well-developed, Beverly Bird entertains with the wonderful, sexually charged banter between her hero and heroine of IN THE LINE OF FIRE (3).
