Book Review

LINE OF FIRE
by Jo Davis

Genre: Romantic Suspense
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

This return to the Firefighters of Station Five is action packed with familiar faces. Davis provides great insight into all her character's personalities, bringing them to life. Disappointingly, the younger man/older woman aspect of this story is basically ignored.

The death of his brother, a Marine, led Tommy Skyler to give up
a promising football career and become
a firefighter. Attracted to nurse Shea Ford, Tommy can't make any headway until an injury places him in the hospital. Things are going well between them, until an arsonist's action nearly costs Tommy his life. Injured and suffering from depression, Tommy pushes Shea away. Then he begins to suspect that his relationship with Shea could be dangerous to his health -- literally. (SIGNET ECLIPSE, May, 320 pp., $6.99)
