LITTLE COWGIRL NEEDS A MOM
LITTLE COWGIRL NEEDS A MOM (3) by Patricia Thayer: Evan Rafferty’s 8-year-old daughter Gracie promised her dying mother that she would finish the quilt her mom had started making for her. Gracie approaches quilt shop manager Jenny Collins for help, but Evan staunchly refuses Jenny’s offer to teach his daughter how to quilt. It takes some convincing, but eventually Evan relents and allows Jenny into their lives. Evan’s stubborn refusal of any outside assistance and Jenny’s tenacious insistence on helping seem overly dramatic, but the story is a fun, heart-warming read.
