Burke Traherne, Marquis of Wingate, is infamous for his temper and when he tries to subdue his rebellious daughter Isabels tantrum he finds himself face-to-face with the angry Kate Mayhew, a neighbors governess. Burke decides to hire Kate as a chaperone for Isabel. Isabel adores Kate, who is only a bit older than she and just as passionate and intelligent.

Burkes past hides a scandal that makes romance impossible, but when Isabel gets involved with a man from Kates past, she must work with Burke to save Isabel and before long, she finds herself falling in love with him.

These two wonderful characters, who have both sworn off love, make the perfect couple in this delightful, warm-hearted, exciting romance by one of the genres rising stars. Ms. Cabots fast-paced, engaging tale easily wins readers over. Youll keep those pages turning until you reach the perfect
and satisfying conclusion. SENSUAL (Jun., 352 pp., $5.99)
