The next installment of the Lonestar series brings readers the story of people who have a second chance at bringing their family back together after a tragedy. The characters are well rounded and wear their heart on their sleeves. Coble writes about subjects who have a lot of emotion, and are worth the tears.

Eden Larson has moved to a new town and found her faith, which has helped her move on from that terrible day five years ago when her baby was stolen. She’s also met a wonderful new man, Kent, who plans on marrying her someday. When her ex-husband, Clay, arrives with the news that he has found their child and also he never signed the divorce papers, she embarks on a journey with him to Bluebird Ranch. They become counselors to a group of little girls, one of whom is their child. But danger is closing in. Will they discover in time which little girl is theirs?
