LONG HOT SUMMONING
by Tanya Huff

Genre: Fantasy, General Fantasy

RT Rating

Diana Hansen has finally graduated from high school and is able to perform her duties as the most powerful Keeper of this generation. Since this is her first official summoning for Diana and Sam, the former angel turned cat, they're going to need a little help from big sister Claire and experienced always-cat Austin. The powers of Darkness are using a local mall to infiltrate from the Otherside. It's easy for the Keepers to segue into the Otherside mall, but they're having trouble leaving. And when the trapped mortals start changing into elves, and the immortal king Arthur shows up as a champion of Goodness, Diana needs to regain control. LONG HOT SUMMONING (4.5) is Tanya Huff's latest offering. A fantastic and fun read, Huff delivers raucous action and irreverent characters with attitude. (May, 416 pp., $6.99)
