LONG SUMMER NIGHTS
LONG SUMMER NIGHTS (4) by Kathleen O'Reilly: Covering a small-town festival for a major newspaper, reporter Jenn Dade unexpectedly finds herself roughing it in a rustic cabin -- but the lack of creature comforts isn't all that has her on edge. Her cranky neighbor, writer Aaron Barksdale, is constantly underfoot, and the sparks flying are undeniable. They begin an intense affair, but it's doomed to be temporary -- Jenn isn't staying, and Aaron definitely isn't leaving! Powerful conflict and a unique twist on an old plot spur the reader's interest, and the characters are handled well too. Aaron's not easy to like, but he has his own kind of appeal.
