Jakes’ m/m suspense novel is bound to thrill, titillate and tantalize. This is the second installment of the Hell or High Water series and can easily be read as a stand-alone once you get past the introductions. The heroes depicted are strong and forceful throughout the entire tale, which will leave readers gasping for air by the time they reach the unexpected ending. Romantic, tastefully done and action-packed.
