This third book in the Texas Trail series can be read alone. Riley is a strong character who has experienced pain and infidelity. The chemistry is apparent between Riley and Annie, and develops into a sweet story. The author shows how God can bring forgiveness and healing into our lives.

Riley Morgan is devastated when he returns home from the war to find that his parents are dead and his fiancée has married someone else. Hoping to start a new life, he takes a job at the Wilcox School for the Blind. Still healing from his broken heart, Riley meets Annie, a beautiful blind woman at the school, and soon develops feelings for her.
