Signet's Emily Hendrickson amuses us with the age-old battle of homeowner vs. builder, Regency style, in LORD BARRY'S DREAM HOUSE (3). The lovely daughter of a recently deceased amateur architect decides to complete her father's last project, a new mansion for a newly elevated lord returning from his Jamaican estates. But will the handsome nobleman accept the many innovative touches she has added to the original design? And what about an unscrupulous rival who will go to any lengths to see her fail? Although it takes a while to warm up to this very conservative hero, the stylish Ms. Hendrickson provides a most entertaining comedy of manners for your delectation.
