In the final installment of the Lord Nightingale Trilogy, Nicky and Sera invite the members of their new-found extended families to Willowsweep for the Christmas holidays in LORD NIGHTINGALES CHRISTMAS (4.5) by Judith Lansdowne. But there are mysteries to be solved. One of the guests has been hired to kidnap Alice, even if it means killing her father, the Duke. Readers who have not read the previous volumes might find the opening pages the tiniest bit confusing. Ms. Lansdowne, however, deftly weaves the background of the series into the current story and soon readers will find themselves completely engaged by the delightful cast of characters assembled for their enjoyment like a Christmas tableau.
