New author Donna Simpson contributes LORD ST. CLAIRES ANGEL (2), a tale of a notorious rake who decides to flirt with the plain governess of his niece and nephew and finds himself hoist with his own petard when he falls in love with her. But the course of true love does not run smoothly, especially when his haughty sister-in-law learns of his feelings. There are a lot of good moments for Regency connoisseurs to relish, but the attitude of the manipulative hero seems unconvincing and out of place for the time period.
