While Rick and Reuben are back, the focus of this novel shifts to the next generation, as Kristi dives into dangerous waters. The loneliness that sometimes accompanies college life can make girls easy targets for the deranged. Creepy and eerie, it has dark shadows that run amok.

After surviving a serial killer and a coma, Kristi Bentz, the daughter of homicide detective Rick Bentz, decides to return to All Saints College. Upon arriving, Kristi learns that the prior occupant of her apartment is one of four co-eds who have disappeared. The police assume they're runaways, but Kristi isn't so certain.

As fate would have it, Kristi's high school boyfriend Jay McKnight, now a criminologist, is a guest professor at the college. At first, Jay isn't convinced, but as they dig deeper and discover a vampire cult at the college, he changes his mind. There's a dark and deadly undercurrent at this school.
