LOST IN TREK
by Jaid Black

Genre: Erotic Romance, Futuristic

RT Rating

This definitive guide to the Trek Mi Q'an universe includes an interview with Black, a history of the series, a glossary and more details than you thought possible. Two original stories are included in this compilation, both of which are hot and definitely trademark Black. Fans of the series will want to add this to their collections. Others, however, may want to give it a pass, since the novellas don't quite work and one of the heroes strains credibility.

Dee Ellison is running for her freedom when she winds up on the planet "Dementia," where she has to avoid becoming a sex slave to General Zaab. The men on this planet have some human attributes but are not human. Can an Earth woman find happiness as a sex slave?

Lord Julian Jameson finds his bad week getting worse in "Never a Slave." He's definitely no longer on Earth; he's on Galis, a planet run by women, where men are considered chattel. Taken captive, Julian is auctioned off to the highest bidder. Klykka takes him home, and when he's led to her bedchamber he learns he won't only be her slave, he'll be her mate as well. But it will take both of them time to learn what being a mate is really about. (Ellora's Cave, May '07, 150 pp.,$6.99)
