Book Review

by Jillian Hunter

Genre: Historical Romance
Setting: Regency England

RT Rating

Exiled to the country because of an indiscretion, Chloe Bocastle is biding
her time until she can return to London when she discovers the notorious specter, "the Stratford Ghost," hiding in her lingerie closet.

Dominic Breckland has allowed the rumors of his death to be exaggerated. When he is really shot, he finds sanctuary in Chloe's room. Chloe uses Dominic's predicament to coerce him into helping her uncover the truth about her brother's nocturnal activities (he's a highwayman). Dominic uses Chloe as a pawn to expose his "killer." Neither counts on falling in love.

For the second installment of her Bocastle trilogy, Hunter has created a delightfully witty, sexy and suspenseful plot, a cast of charming, memorable characters and the kind of romance that readers fantasize about. Another winner from a shining voice in the genre. SENSUAL (Jun., 384 pp., $6.99)
