Book Review

LOVE ON HOLD
by Christine Townsend

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Multicultural

RT Rating

After six months, Cara and Jet are still enjoying their honeymoon. Even if their lives are mostly work and meetings, there's always time to share their explosive passion. But now that they're working at the Sand Castles Foundation, job stress, employee animosity and jealousy after Jet hires a beautiful communications director drive Cara away, to a temporary job in Washington, D.C. Love is most certainly on hold.

Fans of Passion's Promise will enjoy this next phase of Cara and Jet's life. Townsend delivers an emotional, sensitive tale. The next book, which promises to give further insight into their lives, is already on my to-be-read list. (Feb, 320 pp., $5.99)
