The third book in Evans and Hauck’s series easily stands alone, but is more meaningful when read in order. The football coaching storyline might not appeal to the book’s intended audience, yet the themes of love and following God shine through on every page.

Jade Benson has stood by her husband Max, even when things looked bleak and dark. So it makes sense she will leave the comfort zone of her beloved antiques shop and move with him to Texas so he can coach football. Rebuilding trust is difficult, and Jade receives some news she isn’t sure she wants to share with Max. When it becomes apparent that there is more going on behind the scenes than either Jade or Max knows, they must come together or be completely torn apart. (THOMAS NELSON, Jan., 320 pp., $19.99)
