LOVE ME IF YOU CAN
by Marie-Nicole Ryan

Genre: Romantic Suspense, E-book

Like an elaborate game of ping-pong, the character’s emotions bounce around quickly. Tess can’t stop thinking about Scott, then she doesn’t want him. Scott gives up on ever having a relationship with the prickly heroine, just to propose to her on the next page. Be careful or these two will give you whiplash. Fortunately, the story’s suspense plot is fast moving and keeps the reader guessing until the surprising climax.

Tess O’Malley is a homicide detective obsessed with following in her father and brothers’ heroic footsteps. But her career ambitions are put on hold when the police chief takes her off of a high-profile case. Tess refuses to give up and continues her investigation, but she can’t do it alone so she teams up with PI Scott Holt. Soon Tess’s sexy new partner is tempting her to throw caution to the wind and think about something other than her job for the first time in her life. (Wild Rose Press, September 2010, dl. $7.00)
