Covington’s novel is an exciting and intriguing story with a colorful cast of characters. Readers will love the variety of places and circumstances of their assignations, as well as the smoking sex that accompanies them. Sarah Maddox is on her way to start her new life as a married woman in the company of two gunslingers. Her father sold her into marriage and her new husband has arranged for them to escort her to his home. Twins Caleb and Joshua Benedict are a little confused about their employer’s request to escort his wife, but after two attempts on her life they are convinced that something else is behind the hasty marriage.
