LUKE: THE COWBOY HEIR
LUKE: THE COWBOY HEIR (3) by Patricia Thayer With his real-estate career in ruins, Luke Randell turns his attention to his only asset -- the ranch he and his half-brother just inherited. Single mom Tess Meyers has been leasing the place and hopes Luke will stay and work it with her. But Luke's bitterness about his past there -- and the woman who's partially responsible for his current financial situation -- stands in the way of any business or personal relationship. Thayer's latest has a believable plot and conflict, and the ending works very well. But the characters aren't sufficiently developed, and the romance lacks spark.
