Image of Luminary (Anomaly)

The second book in the Anomaly series picks up the action right where the first novel left off. Thalli’s journey is reminiscent of the story of Esther in the Bible as she tries to do what’s best for the community, even if it’s the unthinkable. Although it’s not as imaginative as its predecessor, Luminary readers are left with a shocking cliffhanger.

Thalli, Berk, Rhen and John have escaped from the State and are searching for signs of life aboveground, an area they have long been led to believe is contaminated with radiation. When they come across a town called New Hope, they are thrilled to be accepted into the fold. Yet danger lurks from nearby Athens, and Thalli takes the bold step to infiltrate and try to help her newly adopted city with the information. Are more sinister plans in the works?
