Book Review

by Kristina Wright, editor

Genre: Erotic Romance, Anthology

RT Rating

The stories in this anthology use not-so-clever metaphors to transform classic fairy tales into modern erotica. With the exception of “You” by Charlotte Stein, and “Sensitive Artist” by Donna George Storey, these stories on the whole lack passion and fail to engage the reader.

The 17 fairy tales in this collection are for grown-ups. They offer contemporary twists on classic fairy tales as the authors explore a variety of sexual situations and positions to modernize well-known tales. (CLEIS, May, 232 pp., $14.99)
