One year after a best-selling adventure novelist and a romance book editor share an intimate secret, she tracks him down in the exotic locale of South America to ask a desperate favor. MACKENZIES WOMAN (2) by JoAnn Ross brims with steamy romance, so much so that the potentially powerful external plot is a bit lost in the shuffle. And although the hero is compelling, the heroines actions and decisions sometimes seem both immature and unrealistic.
