For services to his king, Rory MacLean, known as the Sea Dragon, is given Killochleven Castle and wealthy Joanna Macdonald as his wife. Though he is a sea captain by trade and nature, Rory will not disobey the king.

Rory is greeted by hostility and as Joannas familys old enemy he is the victim of a plot to keep Joanna from him. In an attempt to maintain her honor, Joanna disguises herself as Joey, Rorys new squire.

When Joannas true identity is revealed, Rory enlists his brothers help in wooing her. But this is only the beginning of the couples trouble. Forces are afoot to keep them apart. Its up to Joanna to save Rorys life, uncover the truth behind their family feud and rescue a love to last a lifetime.

Kudos to Ms. Harrington who has written a wonderful romance (first in the Highland Lairds Trilogy) filled with passion, humor, treachery, accurate historical details and excellent characters. Youll be waiting with baited breath for the next installment while putting THE MACLEAN GROOM on your keeper shelf. SENSUAL (384 pp., $5.99)
