Hart delivers two very steamy relationships in this fine historical romance. Lucy and her soldier and Caroline and her earl are well-developed characters, and there's plenty of heat to hold the winter chill at bay.

Lucy Waverton and her sister Caroline embark on an adventure that will end with both of them finding and exploring their sensual sides. Lucy leaves London with the Earl of Radbourne, a rake of the first order. They share a rather heated moment in his coach, but things grow cold when he calls out another's name. Lucy runs from him and falls literally into the arms of a soldier, the man she's been looking for.

Caroline is looking for her sister, and when the trail leads to the Earl of Radbourne, what starts off as an angry encounter turns into so much more. Can two sisters find love in such unusual circumstances? (Aphrodisia, Feb., 288 pp.., $12.95)
