MADISON'S CHILDREN (4.5) by Linda Warren: When Madison finds town constable Walker's kids in her barn, she gets on the phone to the lawman. Having been attracted to him since their first meeting, Maddie is determined to help him with his children, who are increasingly troubled since their mother ran off with another man. This charming tale looks at the power of love to heal wounds. Both Maddie and Walker have obstacles to overcome, and Warren's depiction of their healing is spot on.
