MAGNATE'S MAKE-BELIEVE MISTRESS (3) by Bronwyn Jameson: Cristiano Verón will do anything for family, so when his future brother-in-law tells him someone claims to be pregnant with his baby, Cristo agrees to talk to the woman in question. He finds Isabella Browne, Cristo's housekeeper, and she acts like the proverbial pregnant woman. But Isabella's sister is the one who's expecting. Cristo takes them both to London, where Isabella pretends to be his girlfriend, to confront his future family member. Pretty soon, though, Cristo and Isabella get snared in their own web of deception. Jameson pours her heart into her characters, but the plot is tired and more convoluted than is warranted.
