The always inventive Gail Eastwood charms us with the tale of THE MAGNIFICENT MARQUESS (4) who returns from India wealthy, titled and in search of a wife. Although he dutifully pays court to the current reigning beauty, it is the ladys younger sister whose unfeigned interest in his exotic lifestyle catches his interest. But the marquess past resonates with one tragedy after anotherdoes he dare give his heart one more time? Even more importantly, should he put the life of the one he loves at risk? Although the heroine does not fully come into her own until later in the book, Ms. Eastwood weaves a fascinating web of piquant romance and spine-tingling danger guaranteed to take your breath away.
