Book Review

by Deeanne Gist

Genre: Inspirational, Historical Romance

RT Rating

Gist has written another great story full of laughter, romance and a mystery to solve. The characters’ doubts and insecurities are in full view, but by the end of the book readers will see them turning into positive attributes.

Tillie Reese has been assigned by the Vanderbilts to make the new footman, Mack Danvers, into a more dignified member of the staff. She is also in the running to become the wife’s maid. Both tasks are harder than she thought they’d be. When there’s a coverup at the local orphanage, they know they could lose their jobs — and their hearts. (BETHANY HOUSE, Jun., 356 pp., $14.99)
