MAID FOR THE MILLIONAIRE
MAID FOR THE MILLIONAIRE (3) by Susan Meier: Discovering that the new maid is in fact his ex-wife, Liz Harper, comes as a shock to wealthy businessman Cain Nestor. Liz has changed a lot since the divorce, but Cain is still a workaholic, and Liz remembers all too well why they split up. A powerful attraction lingers between them, tempting both to consider reconciliation. But they’re in different places emotionally, and finding a way to come together is tricky. Both plot and conflict are strong here, and the characters have some depth, but lack any sort of chemistry or convincing connection.
